Water District Board to Receive Public Comments on Proposed 2026 Ad Valorem Tax Rate

The Fayette County WCID - Monument Hill Board of Directors will meet in regular session on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 11 a.m. During the meeting, the Directors will receive public comments, consider and take appropriate action on setting the proposed 2026 Ad Valorem tax rate.  The meeting will be held at the District's office located at 100 Country Club Dr, La Grange, Texas.  The public comments portion of the meeting will begin at 11 a.m. promptly.

The district will hold a public hearing on its 2026 ad valorem tax rate on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 11 a.m.  Formal adoption of the 2026 tax rate will take place during the district's regular meeting, immediately following the conclusion of the aforementioned public hearing.  More information on the public hearing will be posted on the website toward the end of August.
