MHPOA Annual Meeting & Proposed Deed Restriction Changes

The MHPOA will hold their Annual Meeting on July 9th at 6 p.m. at Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club in the Valley View Room, located at 575 Country Club Drive in La Grange, Texas.  All members are asked and urged to attend this important meeting! 

The annual meeting notice has been mailed to all Association members, with a copy of the Annual Meeting Agenda and another copy of the Proxy Form. Even if you are planning to attend the annual meeting, we kindly request that you complete and return the proxy form, designating a proxy to vote on your behalf at the annual meeting.  If you then attend the annual meeting and wish to cast a ballot, you may revoke your proxy and vote in person. Every property owner's participation is needed!  

In addition to voting on the proposed changes to the Association's deed restrictions, two directors will need to be elected.  Two individuals have been nominated to serve: Darla Blaha and George Ross.  Nominations will also be accepted during the annual meeting.

Most of the deed restrictions remain unchanged, including keeping monthly POA assessments at $10 per lot.  Changes include allowing the POA to hire a contractor to clean and mow unattended properties and charge 150% of the contractor’s fee to the landowner (Restriction #31), prohibiting feeding deer (Restriction #34), and authorizing the POA to fine lot owners that refuse to abide by deed restrictions (Restriction #41).  All of these provisions provide a requirement of 30-day notice to the property owner and the right to appeal to the Board.
